The D128 Foundation for Learning engages in several fundraising efforts each year to raise funds to support its mission to enhance and enrich instructional programming and provide support for our students in need.

Donor Recognition Wall Dedication Event
1/13/2026
The Donor Recognition Walls located at Libertyville and Vernon Hills High Schools are a permanent tribute to the generosity of the community whose contributions fuel innovative programs and opportunities for our students in District 128. These walls were generously donated by John Landgraf, in honor of his wife Anne Landgraf and her many contributions to District 128. Anne was a member of the D128 School Board from 1999-2009, acting as President from 2005-2009. And she was also a driving force behind the formation of the D128 Foundation for Learning - acting on the Board from 2008-2015 and in the role of Chair from 2009-2014.

These Donor Recognition Walls highlight donors who have given at the $5,000, $10,000, $40,000, $80,000, and $128,000 levels.

1-28 Giving Campaign 2026
The D128 Foundation for Learning held its 7th Annual 1-28 Giving Campaign from Jan. 28-31, 2026 and we raised $12,466! Your support funds initiatives that are above and beyond the District’s annual operating budget and help make our schools world class. Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to realizing our mission to support success for all students. Click here to donate.
The BIG EVENT 2025
The BIG EVENT 2025 was a BIG success! With your help, we raised $44,583 that that will go directly into helping Students In Need, Senior Scholarships and DARING Innovation Grants this school year. Thank you to our sponsors, donors, attendees, band and volunteers.

The Big Event 2025 was hosted on Saturday, November 8th from 7:00–11:00 PM at The Fuel Room at Austin’s in Libertyville.

Organized by the District 128 Foundation for Learning, this benefit brings the community together for an exciting night in support of educational initiatives.
