Endowment Fund

When the D128 Foundation for Learning was founded in 2007, the original Trustees wanted to ensure that the work of the Foundation could continue in perpetuity. With that in mind, and under the leadership of Anne Landgraf, they created an Endowment Fund that the Foundation has nurtured over the years to a current value of over $500,000. In accordance with our bylaws, the Foundation can withdraw funds from the Endowment on an annual basis as the fund grows, while protecting the principal balance.  These distributions will go towards furthering our mission of  supporting success for all students by funding innovative learning experiences and unmet student needs.

In January, John Landgraf issued a challenge to the Foundation Trustees:

Raise $25,000 for the Endowment Fund every year for the next 10 years and he will match those donations, with the goal of reaching $1,000,000 in the Fund.

We are excited to work on achieving this goal, so that we can do even more to support students in D128.
